This past weekend my fiance and I, and one of my bridesmaids and her BF went camping in Gualala, CA, just a 2.5 hour drive up the Sonoma Coast line. Talk about a magical place.
Our campsite was 1/2 a mile from the beach, surrounded by ferns and moss covered trees. We were there for just one night, but it felt like an entire weekend. No cell phones, computers, no time schedule to answer to. We drank champagne, laughed all night long, made s'mores at midnight, and feel alseep well past our bedtimes. The next morning we took a few different hikes out to the beach. The combination of the warm sand and the crisp california coast air was just what the doctor ordered.Overall, it was a fabulous trip, with fabulous friends. We hope to make it an annual event.
